Venite a scoprire il museo municipale di Châteauroux, ospitato in una casa di città del XVIII secolo che apparteneva al generale Bertrand, compagno di Napoleone I. La visita comprende 21 sale. Questo museo d'arte e storia vanta collezioni che vanno dall'antichità ai giorni nostri, tra cui una mummia egizia, un gabinetto di curiosità, arte del Medioevo e del Rinascimento, dipinti olandesi e fiamminghi, una collezione dell'Impero e Belle Arti del XIX e XX secolo. Nel 2024 sono previste due mostre temporanee.
