A pochi chilometri a sud di Poitiers, il Bois de Saint Pierre vi accoglie per una boccata d'aria fresca e di natura. Approfittate del parco zoologico, che si estende per circa 5 ettari e comprende animali europei ed esotici. Membro dell'associazione nazionale dei parchi zoologici francesi, ospita 35 specie protette, alcune delle quali a rischio di estinzione (lemure dalla fronte bianca, maki catta, fagiano surmoi, arz).
Ogni settimana sono previste visite guidate e laboratori didattici condotti da un animatore (su prenotazione).
