Un bel percorso di oltre ottanta miglia attraverso paesaggi splendidi e a volte remoti, con diverse belle salite, la più difficile tra Langholm e Newcastleton. Newcastleton accoglie i ciclisti e ha diverse opzioni di alloggio. Sarai pronto per una birra. L'Abbazia di Dryburg è un po' fuori dal percorso diretto, ma merita una visita, e trascorri un po' di tempo a Melrose, Hawick e Langholm - se hai tempo. Hawick a Langholm ha alcune zone remote, ma ci sono possibilità di ristoro, incluso un ritiro buddista.
