Ci sono stati vari miti secondo cui il castello di Huntington è stato infestato da fantasmi di druidi nei campi e anche nel castello. Si dice che i druidi potessero, con un colpo, creare una nebbia; accendere fuochi a volontà; e far cadere acquazzoni di sangue. Erano temuti perché sacrificavano uomini e donne per placare i loro dèi. Ha anche un pozzo che non si è mai prosciugato, e grazie a questo ha salvato il castello dall'assedio in molte occasioni.
