Il complesso già francescano, è di fondazione quattrocentesca e ospita attualmente una casa di riposo, ma conserva ancora il rimaneggiato chiostro e la chiesa ad aula rettangolare, realizzata a partire dal 1683 e terminata con ogni probabilità il secolo successivo con la facciata settecentesca.
Ha una facciata tripartita da lesene, con portico in basso e timpano di coronamento ed è divisa internamente da quattro campate, con le volte decorate da affreschi settecenteschi attribuiti a Giulio Bolognese e Michelangelo e Niccolò Ricciolini.
