Maasbommel è una città nella provincia olandese di Gelderland. È parte del comune di West Maas en Waal e si trova a circa 7 km a nord di Oss. Ricevette i diritti di città nel 1312. È stata menzionata per la prima volta nel 1144 come de Bumele e probabilmente significa "foresta di alberi vicino al Maas" per distinguerla da Zaltbommel. Maasbommel è stata istituita lungo il fiume. Nel 1312, Maasbommel ricevette i diritti di città e si unì alla Lega Anseatica. Anche se le furono concessi i diritti di città, non si sviluppò dopo il Medioevo. Nel XIII secolo fu costruita una chiesa che fu demolita nel 1812. Nel 1672, le truppe francesi danneggiarono gravemente la città e distrussero il Hof bij Maasbommel.
