Boven-Leeuwen è uno dei nuclei del comune di West Maas en Waal nella provincia olandese di Gelderland. Il 1 gennaio 2021 il villaggio contava 2.245 abitanti su una superficie di 651 ettari. Boven-Leeuwen si trova tra il più grande Beneden-Leeuwen e il comune di Druten. Fino al 1 gennaio 1818, Boven- e Beneden-Leeuwen formavano il comune di Leeuwen, che in quella data si fuse nel comune di Wamel. Il comune di Wamel si unì a sua volta nel 1984 al comune di West Maas e Waal, che comprende anche i luoghi di Alphen, Altforst, Appeltern, Dreumel, Maasbommel e Wamel.
