Niekerk è un paese nel comune di Westerkwartier nella provincia di Groninga nei Paesi Bassi. Niekerk conta circa 1.385 abitanti e forma insieme a Oldekerk un doppio villaggio.
Niekerk si trova sulla cresta di argilla e sabbia dove si trovano anche i villaggi vicini di Oldekerk e Faan. L'antico asse del villaggio è la Zandumerweg. La parte nord-ovest del villaggio costituiva in passato il quartiere De Wijk. A nord-ovest di esso si trovavano successivamente i quartieri Het Zand e Kroonsfeld. La parte meridionale del villaggio è stata formata dal quartiere Smidshorn. A ovest di Smidshorn si trova ancora il quartiere Eekeburen, dove si trova la piscina omonima e che collega il villaggio con il villaggio vicino Oldekerk. A est si trova il villaggio di Faan.
