L'Uomo di Pietra sulla Westerzeedijk a Harlingen è una replica di un monumento di confine che fu collocato nel 1576 per segnare il punto centrale delle Vijfdeelenzeedijken. Questo palo di confine in stile rinascimentale era ispirato alle divinità romane Terminus, del confine, e Giano, dell'inizio e della fine. Il nome ufficiale era Terminus, ma nel linguaggio popolare veniva chiamato Uomo di Pietra.
