Il Coornhert Gymnasium è un ginnasio categorico a Gouda. È una scuola pubblica con circa 720 alunni, sia da Gouda che dai dintorni. La scuola è intitolata al dotto umanista del XVI secolo Dirck Volkertsz. Coornhert, che trascorse gli ultimi anni della sua vita a Gouda.
Il ginnasio ha le sue origini nel XIV secolo come scuola parrocchiale presso la Chiesa di San Giovanni. In seguito, la scuola cambiò più volte sede ed è stata anche trasformata in una scuola latina. Questa scuola latina è stata convertita nel 1888 in un pro-ginnasio e nel 1890 in un vero ginnasio. Il 4 gennaio 1890 il ginnasio ha iniziato festosamente e la 'nuova' sede sul porto è stata inaugurata. Oggi il ginnasio si trova in una posizione al di fuori del centro storico.
