In Limburg il XVIII secolo è stata l'era dei cavalieri delle capre: la leggendaria banda di briganti che ha preso il nome da figure mitologiche che galoppavano nell'aria su capre. Su questo percorso non incontrerai briganti; fitte foreste e mura dei monasteri ti faranno sentire come se fossi tornato indietro nel tempo. Il punto di partenza, il vecchio abbazia di Rolduc, si trova in una zona particolarmente bella. Successivamente, il tour attraversa il confine verso Burcht Rode a Herzogenrath, Germania. Molti cavalieri delle capre furono qui interrogati e imprigionati. Proseguendo, passerai i mulini Baalsbruggermolen lungo il sinuoso fiume di confine Worm, l'unico mulino abbaziale dei Paesi Bassi.
