La chiesa del Terz'Ordine di Francesco risale al 1690 e fu costruita con le elemosine dei fedeli.
La facciata, dove lo stile barocco è già ben visibile, ha un frontone spezzato con una croce e lo stemma di San Francesco. Nella nicchia centrale è raffigurata la statua della Madonna della Concezione.
All'interno, il soffitto è a volta in pietra, gli altari sono dorati e le pareti sono piastrellate con motivi agiografici disegnati da Nicolau de Freitas. La pala dell'altare maggiore è stata progettata da José Calheiros de Magalhães e Andrade, un medico che lavorò all'Hospital de São Marcos ma si dedicò all'arte.
La torre è situata nella parte posteriore della chiesa (soluzione architettonica tipica di molti templi di Braga).
