L'undicesima tappa del Caminho Nascente attraversa di nuovo un bellissimo paesaggio montano. Lungo il percorso ci sono molte vedute, piccoli paesini pittoreschi, il paesaggio spesso assomiglia a una cartolina. La prima metà è abbastanza su e giù, ma non è mai troppo ripida. A metà strada, Mêda offre tutte le strutture per una pausa. Dopo, il percorso scende a Santo Amaro. Dopo aver attraversato il Douro, c'è un'ultima ripida salita verso Torre Moncorvo, ma la pendenza non supera mai il 5%.
