Il Monello,in hartje Kontich, werd in november 2012 opgericht door Antonello en Monica. Zowel Monica als Antonello zij afkomstig van het Italiaanse eiland Sardinië. In het gezellige familie restaurant worden nog authentieke Italiaanse pizza's en andere gerechten geserveerd. Om de authentieke smaken te verkrijgen worden steeds ingrediënten gebruikt van Sardinië. Iedere dag opnieuw worden de gerechten met passie gemaakt.
Il Monello biedt plaats aan 40 personen, bij mooi weer kan men ook genieten van het terras.
