De sierlijke voetgangersbrug over het kanaal Bocholt-Herentals vormt een unieke verbinding tussen twee natuurgebieden: de Lommelse Sahara en Blekerheide. De moderne brugconstructie is ook een herkenbaar rustpunt voor de wielertoeristen die zich een weg banen langs het kanaal.
Deze unieke voetgangersbrug ligt pal op het fietspad richting Blauwe Kei, en is zowel voor fietsers als wandelaars een toegevoegde attractie. De S-vormige uitvoering met een fraaie combinatie tussen staal en hout, opgehangen aan twee stalen pylonen, laten de voetgangersbrug bijna helemaal opgaan in het omliggende groen.
