Is dit nu de mooiste plek in de Antwerpse regio of zit je alleen maar te kijken naar troosteloos kaal slib, met watergeulen doorsneden, waarlangs het met PFAS vervuilde Scheldewater twee keer per dag binnenstroomt en heel het gebied onder water zet? De meningen zijn verdeeld over de vroegere Prosper- en Hedwigepolder, gelegen tegen de Schelde net boven de kerncentrale van Doel. Ons oordeel: het is in elk geval een fascinerende plek. En zodra de zon schijnt, moet je er vooral zelf eens een wandeling gaan maken. Dan kun je meteen zelf oordelen.
