In 2018 startte Eddy Durnez met een proefwijngaard langs de Fleriskotstraat in Wilskerke.
In de zware polderklei was dat geen evidente opdracht. Toen de landbouwer, die eigenaar was van de grond, met pensioen ging greep Eddy zijn kans en startte het ambitieuze project Zeewientje: een deelwijngaard van 2 hectare waar ondertussen meer dan 25 amateurwijnbouwers hun eigen mini-wijngaard hebben. Ieder maakt zijn eigen wijn(en) terwijl alle kennis, ervaringen en materiaal gedeeld worden.
