Wandel langs plaatsen waar folklorist René Mertens (1903-1995) gewoond heeft en die hem nauw aan het hart lagen. Je stapt langs de grasvelden in de Assestraat waar met wat geluk schapen door een bordercollie worden bijeengedreven en stop in het Whisky House voor een echte whiskytasting. Bezoek zeker beeldentuin De Montil met een wonderbaarlijke verzameling beeldhouwwerken. Actueel, expressief werk van onder meer George Grard, Roel D’Haese, Bernar Venet en Thomas Houseago.
