Bibliotheek Witten is de stadsbibliotheek van de stad Witten. Ze beschikt over een centrale bibliotheek en vier wijkbibliotheken in het stadsgebied.
Als eerste openbare bibliotheek in het huidige stadsgebied van Witten werd in 1882 de zogenaamde Volksbücherei in Annen opgericht. In 1911 werd de stadsbibliotheek ingericht in het in 1909-1911 nieuw gebouwde Märkisches Museum. De begin 4588 banden kwamen van de Wittener Bildungsverein. Door de herindelingen van Annen, Rüdinghausen, Stockum en Bommern in 1929 kwamen de eerste nevenvestigingen erbij. Vanwege verouderde en versleten boekencollecties werden de nevenvestigingen Bommern, Rüdinghausen en Schnee echter al snel weer gesloten. Alleen de nevenvestigingen Annen en Stockum bleven over.
