Saint-Péray is een gemeente in het Franse departement Ardèche . De gemeente telde 7.580 inwoners op 1 januari 2019. De plaats maakt deel uit van het arrondissement Tournon-sur-Rhône. De plaats is bekend door haar wijn.De plaats is ontstaan rond het kasteel van Crussol. In de 15e eeuw ontstond er een woonkern in de vallei van de Mialan dat aanvankelijk de naam Saint-Pierre-d’Ay droeg. De plaats werd bekend door haar witte wijn. In 1829 werd de eerste mousserende wijn in Saint-Péray geproduceerd en deze werd verhandeld in heel Europa. Aan het einde van de 19e eeuw werd de wijn van Saint-Péray het slachtoffer van de druifluis, maar de wijnproductie herstelde aan het begin van de 20e eeuw. In 1936 kreeg de wijn het label Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée.
