De rondleiding rond het Vieil Étang van Bairon, een 105 hectare groot Natura 2000-gebied dat zeer populair is bij vogels.
Vertrek vanaf de dijk gelegen tussen het Vieil Étang en het Lac de Bairon
1- volg de gele signalisatie: "Sentier Natura 2000" richting de Hobette.
2- Bij de Hobette, passeer de sluiswachterswoning en ga rechtdoor op het kleine bospad.
3- Terug bij de Digue-des-Six-Pales, sla linksaf op de dijk.
