Cloughaneely is een district in het westen van County Donegal, Ierland. Dit is een voornamelijk kustgebied met een bevolking van meer dan 4.000, gecentreerd rond de steden Falcarragh en Gortahork. Het is een Gaeltachtgebied, wat betekent dat de Ierse taal de primaire taal is. Cloughaneely omvat de middelbare school Pobalscoil Chloich Cheannfhaola, met net iets minder dan 500 studenten. Interessante plaatsen zijn onder andere Cnoc na Naomh, dat wordt beschouwd als een berg met religieuze betekenis. Cloughaneely, The Rosses en Gweedore, lokaal bekend als "de drie parochies" met 16.000 Ierse sprekers, vormen samen een sociale en culturele regio die anders is dan de rest van het graafschap, met Gweedore als het belangrijkste centrum voor industrie.
