Het is gelegen nabij het dorp Berchem, 5 km ten zuiden van de stad Luxemburg en 8 km ten noorden van de Franse grens. Het tankstation ligt aan de A3-route die het Verenigd Koninkrijk, Ierland en de Benelux verbindt met Oost-Frankrijk, Midden- en Zuid-Duitsland, Zwitserland, Italië en Zuidoost-Europa. Het noordelijke tankstation bij de services is het grootste in Europa en het grootste Shell-tankstation ter wereld. Het kan tot 25.000 klanten per dag bedienen en verkoopt jaarlijks 260 miljoen liter brandstof. Gemiddeld tanken 1.500 vrachtwagens en 7.500 auto's daar elke dag. Tussen de 20 en 30 brandstoftankwagens bedienen het station elke dag om de brandstofvoorraden aan te vullen. Het heeft 51 brandstofpompen: 24 voor vrachtwagens en 27 voor andere voertuigen.
