Roodeschool is een dorp in de gemeente Het Hogeland in de Nederlandse provincie Groningen, met een inwonertal van ruim 1100. Tot 1979 behoorde het tot de gemeente Uithuizermeeden. De naam Roodeschool zou ontleend zijn aan de oude dorpsschool die rode dakpannen bezat. Kennelijk was dit iets bijzonders, omdat er een heel dorp naar is genoemd.
