Sint Isidoruskapel
Sint Isidorus is de patroon van de landbouwers.
Isidorus leefde als eenvoudige landbouwer in de omgeving van Madrid.
Met zijn echtgenote leefde hij een voorbeeldig leven van arbeid en gebed.
Hij staat hier afgebeeld met een ploeg. De legende vertelt dat twee engelen zijn ploegwerk verrichtten opdat hij intussen tot God kon bidden. Hij stierf in het jaar 1130 en werd in 1622 door Paus Gregorius XV heilig verklaard.
Zijn feestdag is op 15 /mei.
Ter afronding van het project: "inrichting van het zuidelijk Markdal fase II" is door vrijwilligers uit de streek dit veldkapelletje ontworpen en gerealiseerd.

Op donderdag 21 april 2005 is de kapel ingezegend door Pater Luk Wouters van het kapucijnerklooster te Meersel-Dreef en Pastor Paul Heye van de Laurentiusparochie te Ulvenhout.
De formele ingebruiksstelling werd verricht door Mevrouw Drs. J.M.P. Moons, Gedeputeerde Provincie Noord-Brabant.
