We beginnen de wandeling opzettelijk aan de Noordkant aan de parking op de Budelse Baan zodat we iets over halfweg de route aankomen aan de Achelse Kluis om daar even uit te rusten.
De tocht gaat door een bos- en heidelandschap. Vooral in augustus en september wanneer de heide in bloei staat is het hier wondermooi.
