Kredsen Höxter er en kreds i regeringsdistriktet Detmold i den yderste østlige del af Nordrhein-Westfalen og ligger med sine grænser ved trekantsområdet til Niedersachsen og Hessen.
Kredsstedet er Höxter. Med 116 indbyggere pr. km² har kredsen den laveste befolkningstæthed af alle kredse i Nordrhein-Westfalen, og efter kredsen Olpe har den den næstlaveste befolkningstal af alle kredse i Nordrhein-Westfalen.
