Lysestagen stammer fra det 13. århundrede og blev oprindeligt opstillet på kirkegården ved siden af kirken. I 1811 blev den flyttet til den nuværende plads. Den er 5,5 m høj, rektangulær, bygget af velbearbejdede granitsten, pyramideformet skrånet og har en lille rundbueåbning på hver side øverst. Vestsiden bærer et fremspringende alterbord. På østsiden er der åbningen, hvorigennem lysestagen blev indført, og som blev hejst op med en talje. To trin længere hen er der et orienteringsbord, hvor man kan tyde panoramaet af Limousin- og Auvergne-bjergene. I godt vejr kan man således opdage seks departementer... og få øje på Puy de Sancy!
