Dieser schlecht gestaltete Garten befindet sich im Herzen des sogenannten Textildreiecks von Cureghem. 1975 kaufte ein jüdischer Unternehmer ein Haus in der Gegend und gründete ein Großhandelsgeschäft für Kleidung. Bald folgten weitere, und die jüdischen Großhändler wurden dann von pakistanischen und später von chinesischen Unternehmen unterstützt. 2013 gab es allein in der Rue Brogniez etwa 90 Bekleidungsgeschäfte und 30 Großhändler für Modeaccessoires. Die Kunden sind Einzelhändler und Marktverkäufer aus ganz Belgien, den Niederlanden und sogar Frankreich. Die Nähe zum Brüsseler Bahnhof Midi erleichtert es, Kollektionen aus dem Textilviertel Le Sentier in Paris zu beziehen. Chinesische Waren kommen direkt aus China oder in vielen Fällen über Paris.
