Der heutige Leuchtturm von Blankenberge mit dem Spitznamen Comte Jean Jetty wurde zwischen 1950 und 1954 in der belgischen Hafenstadt gebaut.
Bis 2009 befand sich im Gebäude unter dem Turm ein Schifffahrtsmuseum .
Bereits 1337 wird in Blankenberge ein Leuchtturm erwähnt. Der bisherige Leuchtturm wurde zwischen 1870 und 1872 erbaut und 1944 von den deutschen Besatzern gesprengt. Davor stand von 1817 bis 1873 ein Leuchtturm am inzwischen abgerissenen Fort Napoleon.
