Oktober 1958 und hat in mehr als zwanzig Büchern von Michael Bond, illustriert von Peggy Fortnum und anderen Künstlern, mitgewirkt. Im Jahr 2014 wurde ein Live-Action/Computer-animierter Familienkomödienfilm basierend auf Paddington Bear von Michael Bond produziert, in dem Ben Whishaw die Stimme des Titelcharakters spricht, zusammen mit Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, Peter Capaldi und Nicole Kidman in Live-Action-Rollen.
