Die Leemcule ist eine Senke, die entstanden ist, weil Lehm-Schichten abgetragen wurden, um Steine für den Hausbau zu brennen. Wann mit dem Abtragen begonnen wurde, ist nicht bekannt, aber laut Geschichten muss das um die 1920er Jahre des letzten Jahrhunderts gewesen sein. Vor dieser Zeit wurden Häuser noch mitFindlingen gebaut. Am tiefsten Punkt der Senke steht noch ein Wasserbecken, dessen Größe von den Niederschlägen abhängt. Dieses Wasser bleibt stehen wegen des lehmigen Bodens, der fast kein Wasser durchlässt.
