Die Laurentiamühle ist eine achteckige Beltmühle mit einem Flügelkreuz von 27,30 Metern. Die Laurentiamühle stammt ursprünglich nicht aus Milheeze, sondern wurde 1893 aus Bleskensgraaf in der Alblasserwaard geholt. In Holland wurden viele Holzmühlen gebaut, die aufgrund ihres geringen Gewichts besser im sumpfigen Polderboden standen. Rund 1850 begann man, diese Mühlen durch Dampfmühlen zu ersetzen. Die Abbruchmühlen wurden oft aufgekauft und in Brabant aufgestellt, so auch bei dieser Mühle. Die Mühle wurde übertragen, nachdem die frühere kleinere Mühle an diesem Ort abgebrannt war. Die neue Mühle hatte drei Mahlpaare und wurde sowohl zum Mahlen von Getreide (hauptsächlich Roggen und dem in der Peel viel angebauten Buchweizen) als auch für Leinsamen und Raps zur Ölextraktion verwendet.
