Linzenich Castle, today also known as Gut Linzenich, is located in Bourheim, a district of Jülich in the North Rhine-Westphalia district of Düren. Its roots lie in a fortified manor house, which already had the status of a parliament in the 15th century. The owners of the von Harff family expanded the farm into a small moated castle, which had many different owners through the marriage of the heiresses and the sale, before it was bought at auction by the von Mylius family in 1836 – in the meantime converted into a castle. He is still the owner today.
