Bergholtzzell is a French municipality with 424 inhabitants in the Haut-Rhin department in the Grand Est region. It belongs to the Thann-Guebwiller arrondissement, the Guebwiller canton, and is a member of the Guebwiller region community.
The municipality on the outskirts of the southern Vosges is located above the Quierenbach, which enters the Upper Rhine plain here. The settlement of the village seamlessly merges into the built-up area of the municipality of Orschwihr to the north. The western part of the municipality, which extends into the Vosges, is forested, and the highest point reaches 573 meters above sea level near the Col du Dreibannstein. The distance to the cities of Colmar to the north and Mulhouse to the south is approximately 25 kilometers each. The municipality of Bergholtzzell is part of the Regional Natural Park of Ballons des Vosges.
