La prioría de Sint-Maarten fue fundada por Willem van Sichem en 1408, y luego utilizada por la universidad como pedagogía. En 1477, la comunidad se unió a los Canónigos Regulares. El dominio comprendía un monasterio, un pasillo monacal y una iglesia gótica. La prioría fue disuelta en 1784 y luego utilizada como cuartel y hospital militar. En 1803, la iglesia y parte del complejo monástico fueron demolidas. Lo que quedó se convirtió en un cuartel de caballería, que a su vez fue derribado en 1960 para dar paso a construcciones sociales.
