El monasterio de Germerode es un antiguo convento de monjas premonstratenses en el distrito de Germerode, perteneciente al municipio de Meißner, en el distrito de Werra-Meißner en el norte de Hesse, al pie del alto Meißner, a 13 km de Eschwege. Con su iglesia monástica románica del siglo XII, que sigue el modelo de la iglesia del monasterio de Lippoldsberg, se considera un ejemplo significativo de la arquitectura monástica románica tardía en los alrededores.
Fundado como monasterio familiar de los condes de Bilstein, el monasterio de Germerode fue establecido en 1144/45 por el conde Rugger II de Bilstein como un monasterio doble regular para clérigos y monjas de la baja nobleza y fue transferido al recién formado orden de los premonstratenses. La iglesia fue construida entre 1150 y 1170 durante el reinado del conde Otto I de Bilstein. El monasterio doble existió durante aproximadamente 100 años; después, Germerode continuó como un convento exclusivo para monjas.
