Ferrol Vello es el núcleo antiguo de la ciudad gallega de Ferrol. Es un conjunto histórico, origen de la ciudad, orientado hacia el puerto y refugiado al fondo de la ría de manera compacta.
Hasta el siglo XVIII, la villa de Ferrol no se extendía más allá del propio Ferrol Vello y dependía de las casas nobiliarias de los Lemos y los Andrade. La comunicación con el exterior se hacía especialmente por mar, estando prácticamente aislado por tierra. A lo largo del tiempo mantuvo su estructura medieval de manera continuada, aún apreciable en el trazado viario y en el parcelario urbano.
