Desde el Mirador Peña Vieja se tiene una hermosa vista de cómo Arcos de la Frontera se asienta sobre un espectacular peñón .

Las casas encaladas y los muros de piedra del castillo se detienen abruptamente en el acantilado sobre el fértil valle del río Guadalete. En 1962, Arcos fue declarado Monumento Histórico-Artístico Nacional en reconocimiento a su excepcional arquitectura e impresionante ubicación. El casco antiguo es un laberinto de calles que conducen a un castillo de piedra arenisca, el Castillo de los Arcos .

Como era de esperar desde un punto de vista tan espectacular, hay vistas emocionantes de la ciudad y la llanura ondulada de abajo.
