Les ruines du château de Drachenfels sont un château en ruine situé sur l’éperon de montagne « Drachenfels » près du district de Chursdorf de la ville de Penig dans le district de Mittelsachsen en Saxe, en Allemagne.
On peut supposer que la fondation du village de Chursdorf dans la vallée du ruisseau Chursdorf provient du château, qui a été mentionné pour la première fois en 1212 comme le siège des seigneurs de Drachenfels. On ne sait rien avec certitude sur l’évolution historique du château. Dans l’Antiquité, on dit que des barons voleurs vivaient sur le Drachenfelsen.
