Villers, un piccolo villaggio in Condrusian che può essere fatto risalire al periodo neolitico, ha avuto il suo primo sviluppo in epoca romana. Infatti, il villaggio era situato vicino alla strada romana che collegava Tongeren ad Arlon. È questa influenza romana che gli dà il suo nome. Il toponimo Villers (in realtà Vilé) deriva dal latino "villare", a sua volta derivato dalla parola villa. Si riferisce inizialmente a un pezzo di terra dipendente da una villa, poi successivamente a una fattoria, un piccolo borgo e un villaggio.
