Il Museo della città di Oldenburg è un museo della città di Oldenburg. È stato fondato nel 1915 come fondazione del collezionista d'arte oldenburgese Theodor Francksen.
Il museo comprende un attuale nuovo edificio principale e tre ville storiche, oltre a due ulteriori sedi, l'artoteca e la Torre della Polvere. Dopo la demolizione della Nuova Galleria costruita nel 1968, nella primavera del 2022, è pianificata la costruzione di un nuovo edificio del museo della città tra il 2022 e il 2025. Durante la fase di costruzione, il museo sarà temporaneamente chiuso, ma realizzerà fino alla riapertura progetti nel centro città in diversi formati espositivi e di partecipazione. Attualmente, il direttore del museo della città è Steffen Wiegmann.
