L'aeroporto di Borkum è l'aeroporto della città e dell'isola del Mare del Nord di Borkum, nelle Frisia Orientale.
L'aeroporto è stato costruito nel 1927. Inizialmente serviva per il volo civile. Ad esempio, una compagnia aerea olandese atterrava qui sulla rotta Amsterdam–Stoccolma. L'aeroporto si trova sull'isola nella zona di Ostland. Ostland è stato utilizzato in misura significativa dalla Marina militare sin dai tempi dell'Impero. Con il riarmo dello stato nazionalsocialista, l'aeroporto è stato preso in carico dalla Luftwaffe della Wehrmacht, che ha istituito un comando di base aerea. Da giugno a settembre 1941, qui era stanziata la 1./JG 52, da febbraio a marzo 1942 la 1./JG 1. Qui erano presenti anche squadroni di addestramento.
