Costruito nel 1897, si trova al centro della Place Haute, vicino alla chiesa. Fu costruito grazie alla generosità di Pierre Louis Bonafy. Questo ricco commerciante, preoccupato di vedere gli abitanti soffrire lungo un percorso roccioso e difficile per procurarsi l'acqua, lasciò in eredità i fondi necessari affinché il villaggio arroccato su una collina potesse avere accesso ad acqua pura e abbondante in ogni momento. Questa fontana, che gli Chatelauds chiamano "La Margelle", è costituita da una grande vasca circolare da cui esce costantemente acqua.
