Il Grande Goor o il Broek di Bredevoort è un'area naturale protetta istituita nel 1999 tra Bredevoort e 't Klooster, a nord dello Slingeplas. Con altri diciannove territori, la valle fluviale fa parte del Paesaggio Nazionale di Winterswijk designato dal governo olandese nel 2005.
L'area si trova lungo il Schaarsbeek. Questo ruscello ha origine nel Korenburgerveen e scorre verso il Slingebeek presso Bredevoort. Nell'area delle uccelli di prato e nel ruscello tortuoso si trovano molti uccelli di prato e acquatici, come le anatre, i correttori e i pavoni. In primavera qui nidificano quaglie, pavoni e tuffetti. Per gestire i prati, vengono utilizzati grandi animali da pascolo sotto forma di bovini Galloway. Queste piccole mucche nere possono stare all'aperto tutto l'anno. Anche in inverno trovano abbastanza cibo. Solo quando c'è un'abbondante copertura di neve, vengono fornite con cibo supplementare.
