Rosmeer is een plaats en voormalige Belgische gemeente in het zuiden van de provincie Limburg . Rosmeer telde in 1930 744 inwoners. In 2006 waren dit er 811. In 1970 werd Rosmeer een deel van Mopertingen en in 1977 een deelgemeente van Bilzen.Rosmeer is een klein dorp, gelegen op de grens van Vochtig- en Droog-Haspengouw op een hoogte van 87 tot 128 meter. Het hoogste punt is de Bosberg, waar zich ook de watertoren bevindt. Hier ontspringt, op het gemeentelijk natuurgebied Het Broek, de Wijerkensbeek , welke in oostelijke richting via Hees naar het Albertkanaal stroomt.
