Het voormalige kasteeltje De Pierpont, gebouwd in de eerste helft van de 19de eeuw, ligt in het mooie park Olmenhof. Het park omvat tal van exotische bomen geënt op inlandse onderstammen. Deze oude boomkwekerij ligt aan de basis van bekende families van boomkwekers in Herk-de-Stad. De namen Tips en Gevers zag je onderweg wellicht al? Achteraan in het park staat een groot monument ter ere van Govaert Wendelen (1580-1667), priester en astronoom.
