De Commanderie de Saint-Jean is een religieus gebouw in de Zwitserse stad Fribourg. Het werd in het midden van de dertiende eeuw gebouwd voor de Johannieters van de Orde van de Heilige Johannes van Jeruzalem. Tegenwoordig is het de zetel van de dienst cultureel erfgoed van het kanton Fribourg. Het complex wordt afgerond door de nabijgelegen kerk Saint-Jean.
Een ziekenhuis van de Hospitaliers van St. John bestond al omstreeks 1174 in Magneden. Deze instelling, waarschijnlijk een van de eerste van zijn soort in Zwitserland, werd rond 1238 aan de commande van Fribourg toegevoegd. De Hospitaliers zijn sinds 1224-1229 in Fribourg aanwezig, aanvankelijk in een huis aan de Place du Petit-Saint-Jean en l'Auge, hun eerste kapel bevindt zich in het centrum van het huidige Place du Petit-Saint-Jean. Deze werd in 1832 afgebroken.
