De Sants-stallen werden gebouwd in 1904, toen de tram door de Sants-straat reed, met als doel ze op te slaan op momenten dat ze niet in gebruik waren. In 1984 werden ze gerenoveerd om er een cultureel centrum in te vestigen, een van de bekendste van de stad Barcelona.
