Venlo ) er en by i den nordlige del af den nederlandske provins Limburg og den urbane kerne i den navngivne kommune. Byen har 68.575 indbyggere. Sammen med Blerick og Tegelen udgør Venlo et urban område med 86.885 indbyggere i kommunen med 102.176 indbyggere. Blerick er imidlertid historisk et separat landsby, der først i anden verdenskrig blev en del af kommunen Venlo. Det samme gælder Tegelen, som i 2001 blev sammenlagt med landsbyen Belfeld i kommunen. Byen Venlo omfatter kun den del af kommunen mellem A73, den tyske grænse, A67 og Maas. Andre landsbyer inden for kommunen Venlo er: 't Ven, Hout-Blerick, Boekend, Steyl, Belfeld, Arcen, Velden og Lomm.
